| Notes: |
This story is meant to be disturbing at some level. Some readers will undoubtedly turn away at a certain point due to the content, and that's perfectly all right. I don't expect everyone to like what this plot entails. On the other hand, some of you will. As the luscious Squall says, "Whatever. . . ."
Some may consider this fic to contain non-con. It's very cloudy, so wear a raincoat.
As a final note/warning, depending on where in the world you live, this may be considered chan. If that possibility upsets you, thank you for having stopped in, but please find a different story.
Also, please note that this story was conceived of and written before I stumbled over JKR's words about veritaserum and even getting a better understanding of Occlumency (both from interviews, I think), as well as having no clue yet (as they came in via HBP) about apparation training and even non-verbal spellcasting. I got the span dates from FFN, which is the original dated posting of the story (and HBP didn't come out until summer of 2005). |

"I think this was a well written story. It handled the disturbing subject matter in a delicate way and with taste. If anyone quit reading early on, I would say that I feel sorry for them, because they most certainly missed out on the rest." — critic unknown
"I don't think words can express how much this disturbed me at parts. That didn't stop me from reading the entire thing over a period of four days. It was brilliant. I especially love how you had the two parts with two different POVs." — Enivrement
"Everything about this is perfect-- your chapters are full of action, but none of it is superfluous action; it is all relevant, and it all advances the story, enriching it further and further.
Harry is an incredible mix of old-Harry and new-Harry; you've retained many of his old traits, so that he still feels like canon-Harry, but you've added new ones as well that focus him and refine him." — Kathryn3
"Wow, this was an awesome story. Your Harry and Severus seemed truly alive through out, and despite the uncommon circumstances, the story never reads as contrived; a great tense read until the end." — siriblack013
"This was... like, the most awesome thing. I was dubious at first, with your warnings, but when I read it... you just made the story so compelling, and it was so, so not done before!" — Faerie Princess Of Doom |
